Applications:
(1) Laboratory/Biochemistry: Used as a protein solubilizer in two-dimensional electrophoresis.
(2) Pharmaceutical Industry: Used as an intermediate in the synthesis of drugs such as sulfathiazole and methionine.
(3) Rubber Industry: Used as a vulcanization accelerator.
(4) Mining Industry: Used as a flotation agent for metal ores.
(5) Oxidation Product: Reacts with hydrogen peroxide to produce thiourea dioxide, which is used as a reducing agent in fabric bleaching.
(6) Chemical Analysis: Employed as an analytical reagent for the precipitation and determination of metal ions such as bismuth, osmium, selenium, and lead.
(7) Other Applications: Also used as a metal antirust agent, electroplating additive, photographic developer, synthetic resin coating, fungicide, fertilizer, etc.

Storage
